2010 AUSTRALIAN CLASSIC DIRT TRACK TITLES

GMSC will be hosting the Australian Classic Dirt Track Titles at the Pines Speedway on the weekend of 18th & 19th September.We are expecting 120 riders to attend from around Australia.

SATURDAY 18th  Sign on & Scrutineering starts at  1.30 pm  until  3.30pm followed by riders breifing then practice will commence once all riders have signed the breifing attendence sheet. After practice there will be a parade lap followed by the  National Anthem .  Then shortly after  racing will commence until dusk ,then continue under lights until 10.00pm.

 SUNDAY 19th 8.30 am to 9.30 am scrutineering for machines that have left the pit area overnight followed with practice for those whom require it.Racing to commence soon afterwards.

There will be a Junior Classic Pre 1975 class 13yrs to under 16yrs on a Pre 1975 125cc 2 stroke or 250cc 4 stroke bike with Aust Title status.

We will need a hand from members to run this event so if you can keep this weekend free & come up to help out it would be appreciated.

The Canteen is a big task & fund raiser for the GMSC on a meeting such as this & Linda Kirkman has kindly offered to run the canteen,but Linda will require a great deal of assistant to cater for the event from our club members,so if you can spare a few hours please contact us at the practice days or via the contact link on this website 

GMSC will require approximately 35 sponsors for the Titles at $300.00 each. For the amount of $300.00 the sponsor will have their name on 1st,2nd,3rd place trophies for the class they are sponsoring along with an advertisment in the race program & PA advertising during the meeting.If you would like to sponsor this event please contact David Gras 69626162 BH

GMSC Shirts & Jackets

Rod Hollands has organised new polo shirts & waist length jackets with GMSC logo on them .

Active Workwear  are supplying the clothing at very reasonable price about $32.00 polo & $75.00 jacket. If you would like to purchase some of the items it can be done directly thrrough Active workwear in Banna Ave.

CLUB INFRASTRUCTURE GRANTS SCHEME

MOTORCYCLING NSW have approved our application to refurbish the toilet block on the Rememberance Drive side of the track.

PCK plumbing(Phil & Cheryl Kenny) will commence the approved work early September with MNSW contributing $5000.00 towards the improvements.

The refurbishment will include 9 new dual flush toilet suites, 2 new urinal cisterns, 5 wash basins with timer taps and connected to filtered water.
